Born in 1992 Philadelphia, Bryan McGinnis is an emerging artist who balances American history and politics with contemporary gay culture. Although, he is defined as a creator who influences his pieces with witty undertones, his work derives from serious social affairs.  McGinnis diversifies his practices with mediums such as: textiles, acrylic paints, ink, photography and ceramics. Currently, McGinnis is a graduate candidate at American University's Studio Art program.
